Am I a yogi?

Like many other westerners, I was introduced to the yoga world by taking a class led by a teacher who instructed us how to move our bodies into different postures called asanas. Little did I know, this was just one of seven/eight limbs of yoga. Doing yoga in America is commonly practicing the physical exercises of yoga mainly consisting of postures, breathing exercises and relaxation; this is Hatha yoga. The particular series that I practice is Bikram yoga (the Original Hot Yoga, the 26 and 2, the you’re-going-to-sweat-kind-of-yoga). I am using this yoga to chase the pain out of my body, so while I’m not too sure if I’m a yogi-yogi, I can confidently say that I am a Sweaty Yogi.
